FBC Prays
First Baptist Church of Elkhart is joining Michiana Prays, a growing movement of churches across our region committed to seeking the Lord together.
In 2026, FBC will participate by covering one full day of prayer each month (the last Monday of every month) as part of this ongoing, region-wide effort. On those days, our church family will sign up for prayer times throughout the 24 hours so that Michiana is continually lifted before the Lord.
Michiana Prays is centered on a shared desire for renewal and revival, in our own hearts, in our church, in our community, our nation, and the world. We believe prayer is where God aligns our hearts with His and moves in ways we could never accomplish on our own.
We invite you to sign up for a time slot and join others from FBC in setting aside intentional time to pray. Whether you choose a morning, afternoon, or late-night hour, every prayer is part of something bigger than ourselves.
Let’s come together and ask God to do what only He can do.
Outreach Serving Opportunity | The HUB
Serve alongside a local food pantry by helping sort donations, remove expired items, and stock shelves. Volunteers may also assist with food box deliveries or walk alongside families during their shopping experience, helping with carts and loading groceries.
This is a great opportunity to support neighbors in our community with practical care and encouragement.
Digging In: How to Study the Bible for Yourself
If you’ve ever opened your Bible and wondered “Where do I even start?”—this class is for you.
Digging In is a 5-week elective designed to help you confidently read and understand God’s Word. Together, we’ll walk through practical tools and simple methods for studying Scripture, understanding it in context, and applying it to everyday life.
Whether you’re new to studying Scripture or looking to grow deeper, this class will give you a clear and approachable framework to build on.
Baby Dedication
On Mother’s Day, we invite parents to take part in Baby Dedication, a special opportunity to publicly commit to raising your child in a way that honors the Lord.
Baby Dedication is available for children ages 2 and under.
As part of this, parents are required to attend one Parenting Class, offered on April 26 or May 3. These classes are designed to help you understand what it looks like to pursue biblical parenting in everyday life. You only need to attend one of the two options.
Registration is required by April 27. We look forward to celebrating this special occasion with you!

Jesus Saves 2026: Outreach Ministry Trip
Jesus Saves ‘26 is a unique outreach taking place across 16 cities during the 2026 World Cup, in partnership with Time to Revive, a global ministry based in Dallas, TX and one of our valued outreach partners. Founded and led by Kyle Martin, Time to Revive is passionate about equipping believers to confidently share their faith.
This summer, the world will gather for a historic moment as the 2026 World Cup becomes the first ever hosted by three nations, featuring 48 teams, 16 cities, and 104 matches. But beyond what’s happening on the field, there is an even greater opportunity: seeing the Gospel move powerfully across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
During this three-day outreach experience in Dallas, Texas, participants will receive hands-on training from Time to Revive staff, followed by opportunities to step out into the city, near stadiums and throughout surrounding communities in Dallas, to pray with people and share the message of Jesus in real, everyday conversations.
This is an incredible opportunity to be equipped, to step out in faith, and to be part of what God is doing on a global stage.

This coming September the Northern Exposure Wilderness Ministry from First Baptist Church will be headed to Algonquin Park, Canada. Wilderness has long been a staple at First Baptist Church and provides a unique opportunity to unplug, be challenged, and grow.

Join us on Sunday evening, March 8th, for our upcoming church business meeting.
We’ll gather at 5:30 pm for Ben’s Pretzels and Vanilla Bean Creamery ice cream before the meeting begins at 6:00 pm. This is an important time in the life of our church as we share updates, celebrate what God is doing, and look ahead together.
