BETTER TOGETHER: a ladies mentoring ministry

Experience joy and growth in your Christian life by participating in one-on-one friendships centered around learning the Word of God. This lay-led ministry will involve a mentor and mentee meeting to study and grow in God’s Word together.

Better Together Commitment:
Each session will be a 6-month commitment - meeting together twice a month and keeping in touch the other weeks. Better Together currently has a session underway, but look out for the next opportunity!

Reviveschool

ReviveSCHOOL is a two-year program of Biblical Studies courses that teaches through the Bible daily, from Genesis to Revelation. Teaching and study are focused on seeing the Complete Portrait of the Messiah as depicted in all 66 books of the Bible. Based on the example in Acts 19, where Paul lectured in the Hall of Tyrannus daily for two years and all of Asia heard the message of the Lord, the ultimate goal of reviveSCHOOL is for communities to be transformed by the Word of God.

Dates: Begins on January 1st, 2024 and lasts for 2 years

When: Meets every 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month | 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Where: FBC | Room D200

LADIES Tuesday BIBLE STUDY

In this 7-session study, Bible teachers, authors, and friends Jackie Hill Perry, Jasmine Holmes, and Melissa Kruger walk through the book of Ephesians, examining the invaluable truths Paul's letter holds for us today. Along the way, they'll help us understand the riches of our inheritance as daughters of our heavenly Father, as well as what it means to walk in a manner worthy of our calling.

Sign-ups are currently full, but stay tuned for future Ladies Bible Study opportunities!

TUESDAY MORNING STUDY:

Begins September 17th | 9:00 am | FBC Room D200

Tuesday Evening Study:

BIBLE QUIZZING

Are you wanting to study the Bible as a family? Consider Bible Quizzing! It's a fun, interactive way to grow in grace and knowledge. Study together and then cheer on or coach your student's quiz team as they quiz kids from other churches/schools. For students K-12. Stay tuned for the next Bible Quizzing opportunity!

Singles Together

Singles Together is a group for FBC attendees from age 40 to 80 who are without partners regardless of the reason. We get together for fellowship, companionship, service, and FUN!

GRIEFSHARE

It hurts to lose someone. Find help at GriefShare.
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. Join this video seminar/support group for 13 weeks. Sign-ups for the next session will be available soon!

Revive Elkhart

Each Tuesday evening, a group of believers gathers in downtown Elkhart to reach out and love on individuals and families in our community. Using the Revive model, teams head out to engage in conversations with people we encounter. Our goal is to show love, listen, discern, and respond with the hope-giving message of the gospel if God gives an opportunity. This outreach opportunity is open to anyone!

Deaf Ministry

This ministry ensures that an interpreter for the deaf is available during our second service each week (11:00 am). It's a huge blessing to have the lyrics to our worship songs and weekly sermon interpreted for those in our congregation who are deaf or hard of hearing.

WOODLAND TRAILS summer PREDICTION RUNS

Located on FBC’s Woodland Trails, the Summer Prediction Runs include weekly 3K and 5K races on Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm. Runners predict the time they believe it will take them to complete either the 3K or 5K race, and the winners are determined by how close participants come to their predicted time! Check back here next summer for more information!
