This ministry ensures that an interpreter for the deaf is available during our second service each week (10:45 am). It's a huge blessing to have the lyrics to our worship songs and weekly sermon interpreted for those in our congregation who are deaf or hard of hearing. If you are fluent in sign language and are interested in being a part of this unique ministry, contact Tina Miller.
// NEW!! // The Deaf Ministry will be offering a free 6-week class on Wednesdays from 6-7 pm, beginning September 11th. You'll have the opportunity to learn basic sign language, and if you're interested in becoming part of the Deaf ministry, this is a great way to start! If you'd like to learn more or sign up, you can do so at the Connection Point on Sunday morning.

"The Man God Uses" - A man of God is committed completely to God - seeking to follow God's direction in every aspect of his life. But how does a guy really know what God wants? How do we as men understand how to live as men of God? This study is for any man (young and old) who wants to know and understand God's will for their lives. If you want to be a man of God, a man who is leading his family well, a man who is growing in Christ, understand that you cannot do it alone - we need each other. This 7-part study is not only a time for learning but of discipling one another and encouraging one another humbly with our Heavenly Father - becoming The Man God Uses.

Calling all men! Fight Club is a 10-week journey where men are required to complete weekly challenges within the context of community and accountability. It's all geared toward helping men to step into their God-given calling to lead and to pursue Christ with their lives.
Chapter 17 kicks off on August 23rd at midnight! Just like the Mighty 300, Fight Club has assignments both spiritually and physically to complete. Everyone has an accountability partner to meet with and go over assignments.
The theme verse for Fight Club says it well:
"After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, 'Don't be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your borthers, your sons, your daughters, your wives and your homes.'" - Nehemiah 4:14

Gideon- Your Weakness, God’s Strength- by Priscilla Shirer
8 week study starting September 17
When we hear the name Gideon, most of us think about his 300 soldiers or the fleece he laid out under the evening sky. But Gideon’s story is so much bigger than that—bigger than any one man and his mark on Israel’s history. Like everything else in the Bible, this is a story about God and His people. His love for them, as well as His strength operating in spite of their weakness—even through their weakness. And because God’s people includes you and me, Gideon’s story is also about us—our lives, our doubts, our struggles, and our possibilities as believers.
From a state of fear, weakness, and insecurity, Gideon emerged as Israel's hero, filled with God's presence and His passion for deliverance. This study will encourage you to recognize your weakness as the key that the Lord gives you to unlock the full experience of His strength in your life. In what ways do you feel insufficient? Those places create the greatest opportunity to experience the sufficiency of God. Instead of ignoring, neglecting, or trying to escape your weaknesses, see them as the gifts that they are, given specifically and strategically by God to unlock the door of God’s strength.

God hasn't designed us to walk through this life alone! There's just something special about ladies coming together and encouraging each other to live out God's purpose for their lives in whatever season they're walking through. That's why a group of our women plan and organize a beautiful gathering once a quarter to bring ladies together for fellowship, fun, encouragement, and inspiration. It's called the Ladies Mingle, and you're invited to join the next one! Be watching for more information this fall!

It's a great opportunity to get connected with others who share the same season of life while finding community that will push you closer to Christ and with whom you can build life-long friendships.
Throughout the year, the group plans activities including:
A Spring marriage retreat – 2 day overnight retreat
A Summer Couples Get-together – Usually a cookout for couples only
A Fall Family Harvest Party – A harvest party for the whole family
Additional activities at our discretion

Each Tuesday evening, a group of believers gathers in downtown Elkhart to reach out and love on individuals and families in our community. Using the Revive model, teams head out to engage in conversations with people we encounter. Our goal is to show love, listen, discern, and respond with the hope-giving message of the gospel if God gives an opportunity. This outreach opportunity is open to anyone!
We gather on Tuesdays at 5:15. For questions, contact Michael Cataldo.
