Here in MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) you can meet the most wonderful women, and some may even become your best friends as well. At MOPS you can see and listen to how other women deal with the same problems that you have in raising your own children, caring for your husband, trying to keep your home clean and orderly, and desperately trying to find a few moments to yourself. |
Are you a mother of a preschooler here in Elkhart? One of the greatest benefits of attending MOPS is that we connect; we don't feel alone in this life journey called 'motherhood.' Each month, even if just for a short two hours, we find this time to ourselves. Time to relax and regroup, time to encourage and be encouraged. Being able to spend that time with each other is always a wonderful blessing, and maybe even the best part of our week.
MOPS exists to meet the needs of every mom in Elkhart - urban, suburban, and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single, and married moms - moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) recognizes that the years from infancy to kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs. |

MOPS helps moms in Elkhart county through relationships established in the context of a local group like this one that provide a caring atmosphere for today's mother of young children. MOPS also encourages and supports mom through resources such as books , their Web site ( mops.org ), and the daily MOMSense Radio program .
